A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §20-2-65, relating to
creating a specified season for Spring turkey hunting.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §20-2-65, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 2. WILDLIFE RESOURCES.
§20-2-65. Spring gobbler turkey season.
_____In each year, the spring season for gobbler turkey begins on
the third Monday in April and lasts until the third Saturday in
May.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to create a specified
season for Spring turkey hunting.
